As Hawai‘i’s senior population grows, maintaining health and independent living becomes increasingly vital. At Catholic Charities Hawai‘i, we offer essential senior programs designed to enhance well-being, reduce isolation, and promote safety and security.
Our senior services encompass a variety of in-home and community-based initiatives. Volunteers play a crucial role in providing transportation assistance, friendly home visits, and escort services. They also contribute to educational programs aimed at improving senior safety and wellness.
Join us in supporting our kūpuna by volunteering with Catholic Charities Hawai‘i. Your involvement will help seniors stay active, connected, and thriving in our community.
The Phone-A-Friend project provides regularly scheduled calls for seniors who live alone or are socially isolated and have little or no contact with people outside their home.
Transportation Friends for Kupuna (TFK) has volunteers who provide free transportation and/or escort assistance to seniors 60 years and older who live independently and need door-through-door assistance on Oahu.
