Vernon is a Senior Vice-President and Manager in FHB’s Wealth Management Group. He joined FHB in 2005 after 21 years at Ameriprise Financial where he led a team of over 100 Financial Advisors as the Branch Manager and FVP of the Hawaii operation.

Vernon is fully licensed in securities and insurance and has attained his CFP, CLU, ChFC, CRPC, REBC, CFS and BFA industry designations.

He earned his BBA from the University of Hawaii and his MBA from Chaminade University. He is also a graduate of the Pacific Century Fellows program.

In addition to Catholic Charities Hawaii, Vernon also serves on the Boards of the Diamond Head Theatre and Historic Hawaii Foundation.

Vernon is married to Carla Fukumoto, DDS and they have two children, Parker and Lia along with their pet Corgi, Kona.
