Gifts, food, and Christmas spirit came together at the Kauai Veterans Center as more than 150 people received presents on Saturday. Catholic Charities Hawaii, Hope Collective Church, and the Kaua’i Independent Food Bank collaborated to bring joy to those who are in need during the holiday season.
Each vehicle in the drive-thru also received a bag of rice donated by the Kaua’i Independent Food Bank, many Christmas greetings, and a packet of five COVID home test kits nicely packaged with a candy cane.
