Mahalo to our GOING GREEN volunteers and community partners – Rene Mansho and the Going Green Recyclers, Lanakila Multi-Purpose Senior Center Members, Roosevelt High School Leo Club, Senator Carol Fukunaga, Catholic Charities Hawaii, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Volunteer Crew, Hawaiian Memorial and Menehune Water Company! The team spent a non-stop morning on June 1 collecting e-waste – including computers, laptops, printers and televisions, HI-5 containers, car batteries, used eyeglasses/hearing aids, clothing, pet supplies canned goods and arranged towing of unwanted vehicles.

Thanks also to recycling partners T&N Computer Recycling Services, Lions International, Oahu SPCA, Soares Truck Rental, UCP Association of Hawai‘i, Interstate Batteries, and Aloha Diaper Bank – all items were kept out of the landfills!
