Clarence T.C. Ching Campus

The Clarence T. C. Ching Campus, located on 2.2 acres in Makiki, opened in 2010 thanks to an aggressive $28-million capital campaign. The new campus allowed Catholic Charities Hawai‘i to consolidate programs and services to increase efficiencies, strengthen and expand efforts, and develop new models and strategies to address the growing needs in Hawai‘i.

Prior to acquiring the new Campus, individuals seeking assistance from Catholic Charities Hawai‘i had to travel to four different locations spread across urban Honolulu. The new Campus offers a Program Center that houses a majority of the organization’s 30+ programs; a 5,000-square foot multi-purpose community hall; a commercial kitchen; meeting rooms; interview rooms; classrooms; office space; and a 12-unit apartment building for transitional housing programs; all in one convenient location.
