This past Friday, Catholic Charities Hawai‘i’s Maui Support Center received its blessing, with Reverend Monsignor Terrence “Terry” Watanabe leading the ceremony. Local community leaders came together to celebrate this new resource for our first responders.
We understand that helping others can take a toll on your well-being. Located at St. Anthony School, the Maui Support Center is here to offer support. The center provides individual and group support sessions in a safe, welcoming space for Maui’s first responders to share, recharge, and regain balance. These sessions are designed to give individuals the tools and emotional support they need to care for themselves, so they can continue the important work of caring for others.
