CCSS- Full-time, Kona
therapist provides homebased services for families referred by DHS in which
issues of child abuse have been identified.
Therapist provides individual, family and group therapy in a variety of
settings relating to various difficulties in functioning. Counseling service may be psychotherapeutic
or preventive in nature. Takes the lead
as part of two-person team with a para-professional Outreach Worker to provide
services. The therapist must demonstrate
an active commitment to Catholic Charities Mission and strive to incorporate
the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.
EDUCATIONAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS: Must have a MSW or Master’s Degree in a related human services or counseling field from an accredited school, and, at least one (1) year experience providing psychotherapy to families and children. Must be willing to work a non-traditional work schedule. Must have a clean driving record for the past year.
EMPLOYMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Educational verification, Valid Driver’s License, No-Fault Insurance Card, Access to Insured Vehicle, Traffic abstract, TB Clearance, CAN Clearance, HI State Criminal Check.
Will be discussed at time of interview.
