Service Aide #17-12

SU- Paraprofessional Services- Full Time, Oahu

The Service Aide provides direct services to the elderly population, to include but not limited to intake/assessment, escort/assisted transportation, para-professional counseling, and assistance with volunteer matching and support. The Service Aide must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities Mission and strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.

EDUCATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS:  High school diploma or equivalent plus six (6) months experience working with the elderly population/ individuals with disabilities/ experience in volunteer management. Volunteer work experience acceptable provided verification of extent and scope of services(s) can be provided.           

EMPLOYMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:  Applicable background checks; HI State criminal check, TB clearance, Verification of education,  Drivers License and insurance cards.

Compensation: Will be discussed during interview.
