Job Description:  On-call Co-Trainer position is working with Statewide Resource Families program in West Hawaii on Hawaii Island.  The On-call Co-Trainer will assist in preparing a positive “learning environment” and conducting foster/resource family trainings; serves as an important member of Hawaii’s System of Care and actively participates and fosters collaborative relationships impacting the recruitment, assessment and ongoing support and retention phases of the process. The Co-Trainer must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities Mission and strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.

Job Requirements: High School diploma or its equivalent plus minimum one (1) year experience in foster care/adoptions, Child Welfare System or the provision of direct services to families and children in human services. Must be a former or current resource caregiver, or a former foster youth. Certification as a HANAI Co-Trainer required.  May be initially waived upon hire until first Train-The-Co-Trainer training becomes available.

Compensation: Will be discussed at time of interview.
