PSS/FATS On-Call, Maui

Permanency Support Services provides ICPC and Permanency Strengthening Services to children and families on the island of Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island. The Case Manager provides counseling, crisis intervention, home study assessments, skill building, home visitation, information and referral and comprehensive case management services.  The Case Manager must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities Hawai’i and their Mission as well as strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.

EDUCATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution. Case Manager will also have a minimum of one (1) year of experience in providing counseling/treatment to children and families, a minimum one (1) year of experience of assessing children with a history of trauma and their caregivers, and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in providing skill building activities to children with a history of trauma and their caregivers. If a Master’s level staff cannot be found, a Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution will be considered. Staff shall also have a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience, including assessment of children with a history of trauma and their caregivers. The Bachelor’s level staff will be supervised by a Master’s level staff who has a degree in social work, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution and at minimum one (1) year experience providing counseling/treatment to clients.

EMPLOYMENT CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicable background checks;
HI State criminal check, TB clearance, CAN clearance, FBI clearance, verification of education, driver’s license, insurance cards, and no-fault insurance cards.
