Accounting - Full-time, Oahu

The Assistant Controller assists in the oversight of the accounting functions of the organization.  Provides leadership in the preparation of consolidated financial reports and management of the annual financial audit, define contribution plan audit and tax return. Ensures financial records are maintained in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).  Assists in budget development, developing financial reports, and completes analyses required by government agencies and management.  The Assistant Controller must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities Mission and strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.


EDUCATION & WORK REQUIREMENTS:  Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited four-year college or university and a minimum of four (4) years’ experience in general ledger accounting and/or financial audit experience.
