Co-Trainer (YES SRF)
The on call Co-Trainer is responsible for assisting in preparing positive “learning environment” and conducting foster/resource family trainings; Serves as an important member of Hawaii’s System of Care and actively participates and fosters collaborative relationships impacting the of the process. The Co-Trainer must demonstrate an active commitment to Catholic Charities’ Mission and strive to incorporate the four Core Values in all aspects of daily work.
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent plus a minimum of two (2) years experience in foster care/adoptions, Child Welfare Systems or the provision of direct services to families and children in human services. Must submit and pass all required clearances including but not limited to criminal history record, employment history, or background. Must be a former or current resource caregiver of a former foster youth. Certification as a HANAI Co-Trainer is required to maintain employment-in-good standing; Offer of employment will be provisional for an individual who does not have a current certification and is expected to successfully attain it upon attendance to the earliest available Train-The-Co-Trainer training.
